Have you ever taken your dose of apple cider vinegar in a smoothie?
I am always looking for new smoothie ingredients to change things up. I especially enjoy figuring out which fruits and veggies pair the best together. While shopping the other day I came across cranberries and realized I’ve only ever cooked with them so it was time to blend them up!
For my cranberry smoothie I decided some veggies would be a good combination. Maybe this was still me thinking of cooking, but it worked! I chose carrots, which are one of my favorite vegetables to add to a smoothie. I also added spinach to get some greens in.
Antioxidants are essential to our health in order to help balance and neutralize our body.
Cranberries are very high in antioxidants. Apple cider vinegar is another great source of antioxidants and something you should definitely drink a little of daily. It can boost your immunity system, improve digestion and even clear your complexion. Getting apple cider vinegar into your system is a great weight loss aid too. It can also alkalize the body and increase energy! I added some to the cranberry smoothie for an extra boost and it was an excellent way to dilute the potency. Agave and cinnamon are also great additions when using apple cider vinegar.
I keep a bottle of apple cider vinegar on hand at all times. It’s not the most pleasant thing to take shot of, so putting it in a smoothie is the way to go!
