Bacon and Fig Cheese Breakfast Pastry

Ingredients

bacon
3/4
cup
figs
8
oz
cheese
havarti or gruyere
2
sheets
puff pastry
4
tbsp
almonds
shaved

tbsp
agave nectar
Instructions
Prep the pastry toppings by slicing the cheese, cutting the bacon in half and quartering the figs.
Form the thawed pastry by folding in the edges of the dough slightly. Place the cheese in the center.
Cook the bacon until it is almost done, then arrange with the fig slices on top of the cheese. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and give the pastry a few minutes to flatten, then drizzle with agave and sprinkle with some shaved almonds. Serve warm!
