Addicted to avocado? Your skin will thank you!
Always eating avocados? Have you ever tried putting them on your skin? They are just as nourishing as they are delicious!
Avocados are full of vitamin E and loaded with omega-3 fatty acids that can boost collagen to deeply moisturize and reverse the effects of aging. Eating them helps your skin from the inside out, but you can also apply this green goodness topically.
Replenish dry skin and add moisture back in with this hydrating homemade avocado face mask! All you really need is an avocado, oil of your choice (I recommend coconut, olive or even avocado oil) and a bit of honey. Mash half of the ripe avocado with a fork and mix in the oil and honey. You can warm this slightly if it helps everything combine better. Apply to face and leave on for at least 10 minutes. This mask is messy, but worth it! When done just rinse with warm water.
You can check out my DIY video here for this mask! Over on my Instagram page I periodically do a Mask Talk Monday to show you easy (and budget friendly) skin care you can do at home.

Ooooo this sounds awesome!
I love eating avocados, but hadn’t applied on face before. Thanks for the great information.
A great idea to do with the avocado I have in the fridge every season and I can’t eat all of them. Thank you for sharing!
