Blend something new!
There are definitely some common fruits to include in a smoothie, and a melon usually isn’t one of them. I tried it and it turned out to be a favorite of mine! If you want a fresh and light smoothie try using cantaloupe! It has a smooth texture and satisfying taste so it’s a perfectly blendable choice.
With only 5 ingredients this smoothie is easy to put together, creamy and deliciously healthy! Cantaloupe is extremely overlooked for the benefits it provides. Not only is it loaded with vitamins and beta-carotene, but one cup of cantaloupe has the same amount of calories, carbs and sugar as a small apple. So eat up because this melon can help improve eye sight, hair, skin, digestion, heart health and even regulate blood pressure and fight diseases and cancer! This cantaloupe smoothie also helps keep you hydrated because this fruit has a 90% water content. It’s a great choice first thing in the morning!
When I was a coach for Beachbody my favorite Shakeology flavor was Greenberry. I have definitely missed it (and honestly still haven’t found anything comparable)! If you want to try out a sample pack or get started with a month supply I still know friends to connect you with so please do not hesitate to ask! If you have your own protein powder you prefer (I suggest a plain or vanilla flavor for this) but still want to make the smoothie green just throw in a bit of matcha, wheatgrass, chlorella or spirulina. Any of these superfood powders would be a beneficial addition!
