Looking for a resistance band workout that can tone your upper and lower body in just a few moves? Let’s work those buns and guns! Did you know that those light little rubber bands can do wonders for sculpting your body? You don’t always need heavy weights to get toned muscle definition! Using resistance bands can actually target specific areas in a totally different way that has noticeable effects with regular use.
I actually put this workout together during my second trimester when I wanted to add a little extra to my workouts without too much heavy lifting. Of course it can be done prego or not, but just know that it is definitely a safe option!
You will need both the rubber resistance band loops and rope with handles for these exercises.
USING RESISTANCE ROPE
– squat to upright row x10
– bent over tricep extensions x10
– bicep curl to overhead press x10
USING RESISTANCE LOOPS
– side squat walks x10 R/L
– straight leg kickbacks x1 R/L
Repeat circuit twice!
