Tropical Nut Turmeric Smoothie

This turmeric smoothie gives you something to look forward to when you are craving a healthy tropical drink!

I’ve been attempting to get more turmeric into my diet and one of the first ways I tried was by adding it into my morning smoothie. This seasoning is extremely good for you and adds wonderful flavor. You can cook with it and also mix it into drinks. I wasn’t sure what to expect by adding it into a smoothie but the outcome was so delicious that it was hard not to make every other smoothie that week with turmeric in it!

I really love superfoods and add-ins that boost your health. I include them among my ingredients to almost every single smoothie I make! To me it’s the easiest way to get those benefits in a large amount all at one time. For this particular smoothie I have flax, maca, wheatgrass and hemp. I obviously added turmeric as well because it does wonders for you! It is an anti-inflammatory that boosts your immune system, aids in weight loss, pain relief and preventing the signs of aging. Turmeric can also ease stress and work as an anti-depressant. With all of that and more why not jump on every opportunity possible to give your body a little bit of a natural cure?!

Once you try a turmeric smoothie you will be adding it frequently to your daily blends! 

Besides my select extras I picked out some tropical fruits and nut milk to finish off the smoothie. The simple truth is that it all tastes wonderful together, but the real impact of this turmeric smoothie is that it can do a multitude of things for your body. Blend away if you are looking for help burning fat, improving your skin, easing an upset stomach and even battling a cold!

This was one of my favorite smoothies I have ever made! The combination of ginger, cinnamon and turmeric will give a tasty kick to your morning. After making a turmeric smoothie you are definitely going to remember that there was a little something special about it.

    I’ve heard a lot about Turmeric lately. I’m thinking I should try it,but u don’t drink smoothies, I have a Shakeology shakes for breakfast. I’ll do a Google search to see if I can find it in a fine powder. Thanks for sharing!
