Spice up your chicken with some Middle Eastern flair!
I have always loved spicing up my food. I’m not talking pouring hot sauce over everything, although I do that… quite a lot. I mean using actual spices while cooking. Experimenting with different types of flavors is the best way to keep dinner interesting! I love trying new foods and getting creative cooking at home. Lately I’ve been really loving Middle Eastern style meals, so I brought it into my own kitchen.
This recipe is so easy to put together and so full of flavor! I used bay leaves, cumin, cayenne, and a little nutmeg. Start by coating the chicken in olive oil and then sprinkling with the spices and herbs. Cook over medium-high heat on a skillet for about 10 minutes. Make sure it is cooked through and then serve!
I chose to pair my Lebanese chicken with a lentil-pea mash. This whole dinner was simple yet memorable! Recipes like this prove it doesn’t take many ingredients to put something healthy and delicious together.
Next time you are worried about serving a bland chicken dinner just remember how quickly you can transform it!
