Marinate the steak tips with balsamic vinegar, rosemary, pepper and a little sea salt. Set aside. Half the figs and cherries. You will need to account for time to pit the cherries if needed.
Put foil on a baking sheet and arrange sliced fruit on top. Drizzle with olive oil and a little balsamic, then season with some rosemary. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes. Only add the nuts the last 5-10 minutes.
Sear the steak tips to your liking (a few minutes per side) in a skillet on high heat while the fruit cooks.
Arrange steak on a plate and top with the roasted fruit and nuts.
