Challenge your core by doing a standing abs routine instead!
I just recently went on a vacation and wanted to squeeze in a quick workout before our daily activities. We had very little time but I managed to come up with something anyway. My fiancé and I were staying at a wonderful airbnb in Colorado and I wanted to enjoy the view of the mountains prior to heading out, so I chose to workout outside. This meant an all standing routine was the way to go!
A standing abs routine will engage your core in a way that is completely different from doing your exercises on the floor. This workout is made up of six different exercises and takes less than ten minutes to complete one round.
-side bends x 20
-side reach w/ twisted crunch x 10 R/L
-windmill x 10 R/L
-sumo side crunch x 10 R/L
-front toe touch x 10 R/L
-single leg lift w/ knee pull x 10 R/L
