Achieve the hourglass waistline you dream of!
What woman doesn’t want a flat stomach and small waist?? You can achieve this with the right diet and certain exercises focused on bringing your waistline in and defining your abs. I used to be a dancer and for warm-ups we always did a crunch circuit. It wasn’t until I started to get into fitness more after college that I began to discover how many other ab routines there are out there!
There are so many different moves to target all areas of your tummy. Combining these in the right way can really bring out certain muscles and take inches off your mid-section. Whenever I do a core routine I make a point to include moves that focus on upper and lower abs as well as obliques. This particular circuit is all about enhancing that hourglass shape!
Core exercises can definitely define your abs, but what you eat matters just as much (if not more) than how many workouts you do! If you want to get rid of belly bulge you need to eat accordingly. By doing this your efforts actually have a chance of being seen! I put this routine together while cooking up a healthy meal so I could knock out a quick workout while everything baked. It was the perfect reward after two rounds of ab blasting and trimming away those love handles!
– Bicycle Crunches x 20
– Sit-ups with a twist x 20
– V-ups x 20
– Reverse Crunches x 20
– Sprinter Sit-ups x 20
– Plank Twists x 20
This is a fantastic routine to wake up with or squeeze in when you are pressed for time. Try to get at least two rounds in for maximum results!
