From The Inside Out

We all have things we want to change about ourselves, life goals we want to accomplish and a vision of who we hope to become. To reach your highest potential you have to be disciplined and willing to make mental and physical adjustments. By working on your inner self you will get the outer appearance and attitude you desire.

This is true for changes you want to make to your body and to your mindset. First and most importantly though is that you must start with your mindset. Your thoughts have power over your actions. If you want better results in your life, it starts with just that- you want them. Then you think about it more, maybe come up with some ideas on how to achieve them. Next you take action! Maybe things go right for a little while but then you get discouraged and develop a negative mindset. That is how we quit pushing ourselves to accomplish the goals we set. Keep your mind positive and watch your life change for the better. A happier life comes from within. If you can maintain a steadily optimistic thought process then you can fuel yourself towards a better lifestyle.

healthy outside starts within small quote

To get on the right path you have to have the ability to be honest with yourself. If you can’t hold yourself accountable, find a friend you trust who will help you. Allowing yourself to make excuses will enable you to always find a way out instead of keeping you focused on self improvement. To change we must face our fears of leaving our comfort zone. This can be daunting but if you continue to put it off you will only experience more frustration, dissatisfaction and that feeling of being ‘stuck’ in life. Attempting change may come with failure, but if you keep the right mindset then you can apply the lesson to try differently. Each day of your life should be lived to it’s fullest potential. By readjusting your mindset you can give yourself the potential to be the best version of yourself.

you can't compete with what you eat photo

For instance, people often think that going to gym means they can eat like crap. In truth if you eat like crap you feel like crap. Justifying bad food choices by working out only makes you have to work out that much harder to counter it. Ever feel like you are doing so much fitness and eating pretty good but still hitting a plateau? Change your eating habits, even if you don’t feel like you are someone who definitely needs to. You will see the results you want once you start putting the right things into your body, and you will be amazed at what just a mall change can do for you. As for your mindset, if you want to be happier in life but the thoughts in your head are pessimistic that is going to keep you hitting a brick wall. We believe what we tell ourselves. If you alter your way of thinking and give yourself positivity throughout the day then it will fuel more happiness. When you are down on yourself your entire attitude becomes negative not the outside. Getting to where you want to be is achieved by making the right choice at the very start- whether it benefits you mentally or physically.

the difference in who you are and who you want to be is what you do quote

In order to turn your life around you have to have an open mind. If you are stubborn or unwilling to try new ways of doing things then you will have a hard time getting to where you want to be. It starts with the desire to want to be better, but your goals are reached once you actually take a step towards them. Think about what you want most for yourself and then make sure that every action you take is advancing you in that direction.

Yes I need to improve this healthy eating myself. I would like to add more fruit in my diet by eating a piece of fruit after each meal. I think it could help me curb my cravings for ice cream and chocolate .

That’s definitely a good substitute, Julie! I plan to post some healthy treat options soon because I get those same cravings. Smoothies are a great way to get more fruit in daily as well!
